Broadcaster, campaigner and Palestine activist Yvonne Ridley joined dozens of other prospective candidates as Workers Party members and supporters gathered on a scorching hot Saturday in June to launch our Local Election campaigns for 2026.

The Workers Party is aiming for 1,000 candidates in May 2026 and even if we fall short we hope to put on a significant challenge up and down the country. Our candidates will have access to a better programme of support and administration than ever before, for their £250 registration fee they will also receive thousands of leaflets, campaign materials and planning and support, as well as the option to take out canvassing software support for an extra cost.
