A message from Chris Williamson and Peter Ford

Jeremy Corbyn’s ‘Your Party’ is in the process of electing its Central Executive Committee (CEC), and some members of the Workers Party are also members of ‘Your Party.’  

So if you are a member of ‘Your Party’, we would urge you to consider endorsing and voting for the following candidates:

Pier Corbyn (London)

Jordan Craw (North West)

Crispin Flintoff (South East)

Steve Freeman (London)

Mike Hope (East of England)

Jonathan Osaka (London)

John Tummon (North West)

Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi (South East)

Please note that if you want to endorse anyone, the closing date is this Thursday, 29 January.

Crispin Flintoff, Jonathan Osaka and Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi have already reached the number of endorsements to reach the threshold to be included in ballot.

Our deputy leader, Chris Williamson, has been barred from standing for the CEC on the rather spurious grounds that the CEC needs to first determine which political parties it will work with.

Nevertheless, we feel these candidates would be supportive of an electoral agreement between the Workers Party and Your Party to ensure the best possible outcome in future elections.
