Letter to Morning Star

LETTER TO MORNING STAR

Both Vince Mills and Bill Greenshields seem to put forward the long-term vision of the old communists to wait until there is a big enough population educated to a degree level in Marxism before a challenge to the capitalist order is likely to occur. (16th May). Nick Wright (8th May) concludes “This is a system of class rule in crisis and opens up new opportunities for the working class movement. We really need to do better this time”.

So why not give those who bother to vote a chance to vote for policies of The Workers’ Party whose manifesto has been arrived at by democratic process and offers alternative policies that given sufficient publicity could be tested as to their attractiveness with the British electorate?

Failure to report the policies and political activities of the Workers’ Party by The Morning Star denies the paper’s readers and supporters of the opportunity to make informed voting choices if and when they have an opportunity to do so.

Yours etc.

Kevin Hogarth
