National Organiser Shanaz was in Madrid this weekend meeting the executive committee of Soberanía y Trabajo.
Soberanía y Trabajo is a Spanish left populist force (Sovereignty and Labour in english). An interview with Shanaz (in Spanish) can be read here:

A left-populism for Spain
Carlos Martinez, one of the organisers said,
"Doing politics today from a left that wants to transform society and is anti-imperialist, from the standpoint of those of us who have not renounced the centrality of the class struggle and the intransigent defence of workers, has become a Herculean task, a journey through an institutional and media desert. This is the story of a double battle: against an obvious class enemy and, more insidiously, against those who, from supposed progressive trenches, have hollowed out the workers' tradition and handed the flags of social demands over to a bourgeois and globalist identity politics."
Changes in Europe
The Workers Party does not belong to any particular international political grouping. The party has maintained a clear focus since its founding in 2019 on Britain, ensuring that we can deliver an impact for British working people in our own communities and country. The party welcomes, and does receive a large amount of international communications from left-populist, socialist and communist groups and parties from around the world. We are always open to engaging and sharing our experiences and learning from others, without becoming distracted from our core mission here in Britain. Our party is concerned about the growing danger of war in europe and over the last months we are developing our links with those patriotic forces, who like us, are prepared to push back against Nato sabre-rattling on our continent. In this context Shanaz made her speech in Spain and concluded with the following words:
"There is hope in an emerging awakening. People are looking beyond controlled, bipartisan systems. Positive forces are any parties or movements born from the masses that stand firmly against genocide (as in Palestine), foreign intervention, and wars, and say no to destructive alliances."
